                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1218
                   PEACHTREE STREET, BEING ON THE EASTERN SIDE OF
                   PEACHTREE STREET AND NORTHEAST OF EAST 14TH
                   STREET, FROM M-3 WAREHOUSE AND WHOLESALE ZONE
                   TO C-1 HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL ZONE, SUBJECT TO
                   CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 1218 Peachtree Street
                being on the eastern side of Peachtree Street and
                northeast of East 14th Street.  A tract of land
                identified by deed book 3590, page 347; plat book
                44, page 198, ROHC and referenced by the attached
                map.  Tax Map 156C-K-018.
               
               
         from M-3 Warehouse and Wholesale Zone to C-1 Highway Commercial 

         Zone.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Use as an ambulance service only;
        
              2.   No siren use on Peachtree Street; and
        
              3.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
